1. Information we collect
This policy covers the AutoDGR marketing website and, where noted, the AutoDGR application. We collect:
- Contact form details that you choose to give us (see section 3);
- Technical data sent automatically by your browser, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, which are processed by our hosting provider;
- Account and shipment data if you use the AutoDGR application (see sections 4 and 5).
2. Purpose of data collection
We use information to answer inquiries and demo requests, provide and support the AutoDGR service, protect the website against abuse and spam, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.
3. Contact form information
When you submit the contact form, we collect your name, business email and message. You may also give your company, phone number, country and inquiry type. The website validates this information and sends it by email to our team through our email delivery provider. It is not stored in a database on the website.
The free trial form works the same way. It collects your name, company and email, and optionally your phone number and remarks. These details are emailed to our team so we can set up and support your trial, and then you are taken to the AutoDGR trial application.
To prevent abuse, the website keeps your IP address in temporary server memory for up to 10 minutes so it can limit repeated submissions. The form also uses a hidden anti-spam field.
4. Account information
If you register for the AutoDGR application, we process account information such as your name, business email, company and login details so we can provide the service. [Confirm account fields collected and the authentication provider]
5. Shipment data
Shipment information you enter into the application includes goods descriptions, quantities, shipper and consignee details, airports and generated declarations. We process it to deliver the service and to keep your shipment history. This information belongs to you, as described in our Terms. [Confirm storage location and access controls for shipment data]
7. Data storage and security
The website is served over HTTPS. Contact form submissions are sent to our email provider over an encrypted connection where the provider supports it. Credentials for these services are kept in server-side configuration and are never sent to your browser. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. [Hosting provider and region]
8. Third-party services
- Email delivery provider: delivers contact form messages to our team. [provider name]
- Hosting provider: serves the website and processes technical request data. [provider name]
- WhatsApp (Meta): if you choose the WhatsApp button, you leave our website, and WhatsApp's own privacy policy applies to that conversation.
9. Data retention
We keep inquiry emails only as long as we need them to respond and follow up on your request. [retention period, e.g. 24 months]. Rate-limiting data is discarded automatically after 10 minutes. Application data is retained according to your subscription agreement. [Confirm]
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal information, to object to processing, and to request a copy of your data. To make a request, contact [privacy contact email]. You may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
11. International data transfers
Our service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we will use appropriate safeguards for those transfers. [Confirm the countries involved and the safeguards used]
